What sports or fitness things did you do before WOTOWN?
Walked 3-5 miles at least 5-7 days a week
How did you find WOTOWN? What was your first workout?
A couple of ways: Driving past it all the time, telling myself, I could never do CrossFIt. Scrolling through Facebook Melissa Jones telling me to commit, that I won’t regret it and I HAVEN’T.
My first workout was 5 rounds of 50 single unders, 10 clean and jerks and 10 up downs
What’s your “why” for working out?
Improve my mental and physical health (I am getting old, ya know!! 😂)
What’s your favorite thing about WOTOWN?
The PEOPLE – group classes, accountability and the encouragement you get from everyone!
What are your hobbies?
Hanging out with family and friends, going to the beach, playing pickleball, kayaking, running races because Crystal Harris makes me do it. Then Crystal says “ Why did we sign up for this?” LOL Signing up for competitions because the encouragement you get from other gym members telling you that You can do it!! Rachel, Ellen, Lauren, Jessica, Crystal, Erin, Tres! Just to name a few!!
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I am about to be a Grandmother
What PRs or accomplishments (fitness-related) are you most proud of?
Finishing a 10K. I have never walked or ran 6.24 miles at one time before in my life!
What’s on your fitness bucket list?
Running a full or half marathon and getting a strict pull up.
What’s on your general bucket list?
Travel more! Go on a cruise, go to NYC to see Time Square and see the 911 Memorial, go out of the country, etc
What advice do you have for people new to WOTOWN?
If you think CrossFit is something you can’t do, YOU are wrong! CrossFit is a fitness program for all ages and fitness levels! If I can do it, so can You!!

WOTOWN has definitely become family to me!! WOTOWN on 3, family on 6!!
