How did you find WOTOWN? What was your first workout?
Shelby – Row, OH Squats, DU from March 5th 2021 I think.
What’s your “why” for working out?
My health for starters, I have been heavier and it isn’t fun. Also so that JT and our unborn child thinks it is normal to work out and take care of your body. I want working out to be the norm in our household.
What’s your favorite thing about WOTOWN?
The people by far.
What are your hobbies?
Working on vehicles, working out, golf, hanging with buddies.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’m a big numbers guy. I like stats.
What PRs or accomplishments (fitness-related) are you most proud of?
The 24 hour row with the gym – probably the hardest thing I have ever done.
What’s on your fitness bucket list?
Overhead squat my body weight.
What’s on your general bucket list?
To see the world with Shelby.
What advice do you have for people new to WOTOWN?
Stick with it. You get what you put into it. Once you get your feet wet don’t be afraid to try and RX a workout. I know some of my best times dying in the gym I didn’t even finish it but I gave it my best. Also when trying to RX you might surprise yourself and do better than you thought.
Anything else you’d like to mention?
I’m really thankful Shelby pushed me to join. I was anti CrossFit. Now that I am a part of it I would hate to see where my health would be had I never joined.
