How to Prepare for the Nutrition Kickstart

nutirition

August 18 – September 29

We’re about to launch our next gym-wide Nutrition Kickstart, and it’s one of the best things we do at WOTOWN. Not because it’s flashy or fancy, but because it works. Six weeks of intentional eating, accountability, and simple challenges can completely shift your health trajectory for the rest of the year.

But before we get into how to prepare, let’s talk about why nutrition matters so much.

You Can’t Outwork a Bad Diet

You’ve probably heard that before, but let’s look at the numbers.

The average American consumes around 3,000 calories per day and gets about 15 minutes of movement. That’s a massive gap.

We’re putting in way more than we’re burning, and even if you’re training hard 3–5 times a week at WOTOWN, you’re not immune from this reality. Strength training is amazing, but it only takes you so far if your daily nutrition habits are working against your goals.

Muscle is metabolically active, it burns calories just to exist. So yes, building it is a huge win for your health and metabolism. But if you want to see the changes you’re working for, your food choices have to support your workouts.

“You can have a stronger engine and be fitter from a performance standpoint, but if you want the most optimal results, especially in body composition, it’s going to come down to what you’re putting in your mouth.”

And that’s exactly what the Nutrition Kickstart is designed to help you figure out.

What to Expect: August 18 – September 29

For six weeks, you’ll get:

  • Weekly nutrition challenges to keep you focused
  • Educational videos from our coaching team to help you learn the why
  • Accountability check-ins in our private WOTOWN Facebook group

You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll be doing it with your coaches and your gym family. The same way you show up to suffer through deadlifts and box jumps together, now we’re doing it with food.

How to Prepare Right Now

1. Get some meal prep containers.

Before or during the weekend of August 17–18, grab at least 3–5 containers. Trust us, having these on hand will make the first week dramatically easier. And make sure you go grocery shopping or order groceries to be delivered that weekend.

2. Throw away the junk food at home.

Seriously. If it’s not there, you won’t eat it. The snack drawer isn’t sacred. Clean it out.

3. Book a goal check-in + InBody scan.

Start with a clear baseline and set realistic, measurable goals for the six weeks. We’ll help you dial it in.

4. Get your mind right for the full 6 weeks.

Here’s the pattern:

Weeks 1–2? Everyone’s fired up.

Weeks 4–6? A solid 10–15% start to fall off.

Don’t be in that group. Prepare now to finish what you start. This isn’t a crash diet. It’s a Kickstart, something that builds momentum, helps you clean up habits, and gives you direction to finish the year stronger than you started it.

One Last Thought

We’ve seen people lose body fat.

We’ve seen people build real discipline.

We’ve seen people learn to actually enjoy eating better.

But most importantly, we’ve seen people change their identity, from “I always start things and quit” to “I do hard things and finish strong.”

This is your chance to reset. Let’s go.
